Lisa Pennington & Associates, PLLC is dedicated to promoting positive social, emotional, and academic success in every child we have the privilege to work with. 

Through identifying a child's unique strengths and providing tools to compensate for their areas of weakness, we aspire to unveil every child's true potential.

●  Lisa Pennington, Ph.D.

Growing up in Bluefield, West Virginia I was fortunate enough to have received my undergraduate degree from West Virginia University and received my doctoral degree from the University of South Florida. 

As a parent of two extraordinary boys, Jacob and Mikah play an integral part of who I am.   Every single day my children remind me of the importance of parenting and how it affects the development of a child.    

As a Licensed Psychologist and Certified School Psychologist, my goal is to reach as many children as possible in a positive way to promote academic and social success. 

I truly believe that by providing parents and educators with the understanding of every child�s unique attributes, we can foster positive adult-child interactions that help develop confident, motivated, successful, and happier children.   

If I am successful at promoting my own children and other children�s life ambitions, self-confidence, and the skills to be a positive person, I feel that I have fulfilled my goals as both a mother and a professional.

Throughout the years in developing Lisa Pennington & Associates, I have established unique treatment protocols and comprehensive educational learning assessments through research-based techniques.  Utilizing the same protocols and tools in understanding children, my associates and I can reach more children and their families.

●  Andriette Farmer, M.S., Ed.S.

Andriette Farmer is the most recent addition to our practice. Andriette received her Bachelors Degree in Psychology and Human Development from Virginia Tech, and received her graduate degrees from Radford University. Her experience helping children in various educational settings, as well as her warm personality and commitment to positive social and academic development make her a wonderful asset to our staff and families. Andriette's specialty areas include psycho-educational assessments, social skills building, organizational development, and academic support for children, parents and teachers.
